Thai economy has potential to grow 3.5% per year, finance minister says

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s economy has the potential to expand by 3.5% annually, but growth has been lower due to weak investment, the finance minister said on Monday.

The government plans to boost tourism and tackle debt problems to help solve economic issues, Pichai Chunhavajira told a business forum.
