Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.22%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.22% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (JK:AMRT), which fell 0.32% or 10.00 points to trade at 3,140.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Colorpak Indonesia Tbk (JK:CLPI) added 440.00% or 880.00 points to end at 1,080.00 and Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:BUAH) was up 269.85% or 1,047.00 points to 1,435.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI), which fell 96.00% or 192.00 points to trade at 8.00 at the close. Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT) declined 95.67% or 4,114.00 points to end at 186.00 and Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk PT (JK:MARI) was down 93.33% or 700.00 points to 50.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 330 to 284 and 223 ended unchanged.

Shares in Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk PT (JK:MARI) fell to all time lows; down 93.33% or 700.00 to 50.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $69.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $72.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.30 to trade at $2,609.20 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.32% to 15,324.85, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 10,358.13.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 100.31.
