Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.34%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Telecoms & IT and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.34%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which rose 9.54% or 1.74 points to trade at 19.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) added 6.04% or 1.48 points to end at 26.00 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) was up 5.65% or 0.76 points to 14.22 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081), which fell 3.75% or 0.58 points to trade at 14.88 at the close. Riyad REIT (TADAWUL:4330) declined 2.79% or 0.19 points to end at 6.61 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) was down 2.31% or 0.90 points to 38.10.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 116 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.19% or 0.14 to $71.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.16% or 0.85 to hit $74.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $2,639.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 108.28.
