Thai PM says part of $13 billion digital wallet stimulus to be in cash

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said on Tuesday that a part of the government’s flagship 450 billion baht ($13.1 billion) digital wallet stimulus handout will be made in cash.

Details are still being finalised and will be announced in a policy statement to parliament, she added.
